2008 Chocolate & Wine Recipe Contest Winners

Our 2008 chocolate recipe contest participants gave our judges a close competition. The flavors, textures and aesthetics were outstanding.

Do you have a passion for chocolate? Do you love to cook? If so, the Montrose Chocolate and Wine Festival Recipe Contest is just for you!

We are inviting community members to display their talents in the kitchen. Simply complete and submit the following entry form, after deciding upon your best recipe!

*Recipe entries must utilize chocolate and/or wine as a prominent ingredient and will be judged on a scale of 1-10 for taste, texture, presentation, and overall impression. In addition, a list of ingredients must accompany your entry for display at the festival.

Please submit entry form with $10.00 entry fee postmarked by May 11, 2010 or register the day of the festival with a $20 entry fee.

All recipe entries must be delivered for judging between 10:00 – 11:00am at D•dots on Saturday, May 15, 2010. Judging will take place that same day beginning at 11:00am with the results displayed through the remainder of the Chocolate and Wine Festival.

Each entry will be offered for tasting to the public upon completion of the judging.

Please return entry form along with your $10.00 entry fee to Chocolates by Leopold either in person or via mail by May 11, 2010. Entry forms are also available online at www.chocolatewinefestival.com.
